Color Studies for St Martin, Oil paint on paper, 18 x 24cm

I paint landscapes with a dreamlike and sometimes dark quality to them. In search of a deeper dimension I explore the border of realism and surrealism, creating places of liminality. My paintings touch on themes of escapism, the unconscious and our fraught relationship with the natural environment.

The work of the eyes is done. Go now and do the heart-work on the images imprisoned within you.
